Somethings to know:
The image of sand in the background isn't going to be used, I'm going to print out the post cards and burn them to my liking to make them appear more realistic. I tried aging them but I'm not sure if I should age them a little more? I want to add a girls hand writing to the photo saying "Love Always, Nellie" and maybe a heart because I think that would be great! I need a little help with where to place the theatre and date info? maybe make another postcard or a business card for it? I'm going to take it pictures of the burned photos on real sand. I would love to hear everyone's suggestions on this still! I'm thinking a business card could work out great in the bottom right corner, I will test it out though.

Also, Im thinking about maybe adding a locket or chain someone in the sand...
Hey Todd,
I’m really liking the vintage effect you’ve applied to the photographs. They look legit. I think you might want to experiment with different images for your background though. I like the sand idea, but when I first saw it I just thought it was a bulletin board. In terms of your extra info, I think you should definitely try placing another postcard in with the rest. That might help balance some of the extra negative space. Personally, I really love the text that is on the postcard to the right. The color and the font look great. I think you should try placing the play information on a postcard just like that. It looks really sharp, but it looks natural to the collage feel you’ve created. I would also really like to see the handwritten note by Nellie (Maybe even a lipstick kiss? Ha). I think that would give it a really nice touch. Good job man!
hay todd!
okay- i really love this postcard idea! YAY haha. good call.
i agree with gil on the sand thing. i totally thought it was a bulletin board too baha. sooooo yes, i defintely think you should add something to that area like you were thinking.. that be a locket or a shell or somethanggg.
i think adding another postcard would be great as well... unless you add a shell or something- you'd have to see how they all balance together of course.
maybe you could make the info a bit larger? that way it doesn't run the risk of getting lost in all the other things that are going on in the poster.
nice job kiddo!
Conceptually, it's heading down the right path. I think burning actual postcards and then taking a picture of them in the sand will really help. Just finalize your composition before you actually lay them out on the ground for the picture. You may want to consider making them a little proportionally bigger in the final poster and even have them bleed off the edges a bit.
Is that your date and venue info on the bottom of that one postcard? Make sure that ties in well. I'd avoid having any type on the postcards that isn't specifically related to promoting the event…as it might be confusing as to what's supposed to be read and what's not.
