I'm still in the process of fitting different moustaches, changing some of the colors around, and adding different shadows. I also still have to create a hand drawn font for the play info.
hez gil, i really like your design. you have a very significant style as far as i can tell and i love it. i am glad you went with the idea of the jake.
i think the placement of the text should be either all in the bottom or the split in top and bottom.
i really like the coloring, it goes well with the idea of the card;
It's looking good. I'd still try and push the Jack more towards a Jackie, and some full eyelashes might just be the ticket. I'd also consider integrating the character illo a bit more with the border/background. It's very photo-distressed, while the character is very hard-edged vector. I'd either consider simplifying the texture on the border/background a bit…or bringing the texture a bit into the character illo. I'd also consider making the white in the border a color of some sort. The strong contrast of the white draws the eye too much.

I'd like to see the mustache a little bushier/thicker. Hand done font will look great! What colors are you thinking of changing?
