DANIELLE'S.DIGITAL.ROUGH.DRAFT

This is the basic composition. My main goal by today
was getting the figures made and the main typeface chosen.

1.) I'm still debating whether or not to make the dress out of a $100
bill. (I feel like I'll misplace it haha.) 2.) I'm in the process of working out a
background that doesn't take away from my figures... (color, texture, all those shenanigans.) I was thinking that I didn't like my color scheme... but after stepping back... I kind of do like it. Your thoughts? 3.) I like the rhinestone effect,
but I don't know if they should trail down to the bottom right corner or
maybe as a border.... OR maybe they shouldn't even be included at all....
but again.... I dooo like them. hmmmm.... DILEMMA.

Something else I want to play with is making the figures halftones.
(The $$$$$ dress would stay the same.) I feel like if I were to do that,
I would have more control over the colors and it would be simpler/make
more of an impact. I'm going to try that out this weekend and see how it
turns out.

This is great! The only thing I would recommend is maybe moving the info from the bottom right corner, other than that its pretty sweet!

I think making it out of $100 would be cool. As for the background, I would pick something with minimal texture with a more solid background--not as eye catching like red, maybe a more neutral color.

The color scheme is alright, like I mentioned, not a huge fan of the background right now, other than that, I think the other colors work fine. I also like the rhinestones; maybe you could take a few out of the group you have--there's a lot going on in that corner and it feels a little smushed and over crowded.

If you keep the background, I would dull it down a bit so it's not so bright; and because it looks like a half tone already, I wouldn't make your figure half tones. Even if you change the background, I like your figures. They are fun and I like that they are solid.

i like the texture and color you chose for the background. I also think the rhinestone effect adds to the poster and if you could mke it trail down that could look cool! sweet robot

Danielle,

The collages are looking great. Yeah, I'd spring for the $100 bill…I think it would be a very helpful subtle detail.

Regarding the background—yes, I'd tone it down. It can be busy, as long as it's not too contrasty and isn't too loud/warm of a color. Put a subtle drop shadow under your figures so they look even more collaged, and make sure that the background doesn't swallow or overpower them.

I'd tuck the show info under/next to the bottom terminal of the last "s".
