Veronica Pencil Roughs

These posters are based on the song "Glow" by Alien Ant Farm
For image on the left I chose to place them in outerspace because it was bolth dark and romantic with the stars and the privacy.
And for the image on the right I focused more on a romantic aspect thus the formal wear and that they were glowing despite not being plugged in.

Both of these are really cool. I think your top rough works the best right now. The placement of the text and how everything flows is great.

I like the second one, but the text placement is not very good. It's small and hard to read. I do like the sketch tho; maybe if you played around with the text it could work better. But I still like the top sketch best.

Hey Veronica,
I also like the outer space concept a lot. I think if you could show the two characters glowing in a place that is universally known to be dark, it has a very strong effect. The composition flows very nicely, and their astrosuits are pretty sweet. I especially like that you included the ant on the guy’s suit.

The second poster has a symmetric look that could be interesting to experiment with. But I agree with Jackie, I think the layout of the type should be placed differently. I like the rectangular block formation it is making, but the name of the band is diminished with it is crunched in with all the other information. You should experiment with putting Alien Ant Farm at the top of the poster, and leaving the rest of the info at the bottom.
