Hi All!
So my business concept is a specialty sci-fi/fantasy shop that carries books, art, & decor (like statues and incense) called "Across the Veil." I wanted to give it a sense of being magical or entering a new, surreal world. I tried to keep the designs as simple as possible, but I think that there is still an illustrative aspect to it. The font is call "Bon Bon Bleu," - I like the way it looks but am not sure if this is the best font to use, I may still change it after looking around online more. I want to try and tighten up the images and overall designs, but I like the long horizontal because I think it really communicates the word "Across." As for color schemes, I like the way red-gold-gray looks, because its very eye catching and direct, but I also like the blue/gold because it feels more magestical.
PS I know my post is really late so if you dont get a chance to comment it's ok

Hey Veronica,
I really like the way you have the Knight Armor separating “Across” from “the Veil”. If you moved the “the” in the second one logo to the “veil” it would work really well too. I think the second logo has more of a magical/ surreal feel to it. I also really like the font you’re using; it definitely reminds me of an old fantasy type of writing. The only thing that concerns me with it is that the V almost looks like a D, and the S is somewhat hard to distinguish. Also, the yellow font looks pretty sharp against the white background, but not so much against the grey. It really blends in and the smaller words are really tough to read. If you used a darker color I’m sure it would stand out great. Cool concept by the way – I’m looking forward to the finished product.
Hey Veronica! I think both of them are pretty cool/ eye catching, I think the 2nd one would be a lot better though if the background was a little light though so you could read the letters a little better. Maybe its just this laptop though I'm not really sure. See you Tuesday!
