Hey Max, I think this looks a lot better than the current full throttle logo. I really like the way the extra appendage in the top left corner makes the F & T Combo. I might consider spacing the middle appendage the same as the upper left one. The flames are nice, but I think you could make them “explode” more. Right now they seem a little bit static. I might try engulfing the logo mark more. I like the simplicity and cleverness you put into it.
I'd agree with Gil about the spacing on the floating pieces. Make sure that the "T" and the "F" each hold their own…and preferrably with as much equal emphasis as possible.
The flames are ok. They don't compete with the letterforms much…but they don't add a whole lot either. They seem a little too weighted towards the bottom, and could stand to be "livened up" a bit. I'd also work with some other color combos. It's starting to feel a bit halloweeny…
