The shape of this logo is based on the intersection (or crossing) of a sinusoidal curve with a straight line angled at 45deg. The removable discontinuity in the center is not only a mathematical idea, but it also links the company back to it's mission of responsible sustainability. I was toying with the idea of having a tagline of "All that's missing is you" to allude to the idea that individuals can change the world.

This logo is based on the generic shape of perpendicular segments (similar to a T-Square). The ascending segments form a type of 3d staircase or pyramid - alluding to the idea of positive action.

The shape around the text-based logo contains two perpendicular corners, but has two rounded corners as well to suggest that there is more to the organization than meets the eye. The logo PS in the center is one continuous line segment - implying a connection between two different things (such as math and helping others).
For all of the logos I used a sans-serif font to give a contemporary / techy feel. I want to give the feel that this is an innovative company.

hay gil!
i like all of your options here- they each have a great explanation and would work well for your company.
my favorite is the second one. everything about it seems very structured and strong and i like the positive energy it gives off.
really the only thing im wondering is how it would look with the typeface you used in the last one. but you might have already done that- just a suggestion!
have a fantastic rest of your weekend!!!
Hey Gil! I think all of these are working out really great, like I could honestly believe these were all business logos somewhere. I think the 2nd and 3rd one are working out a lot better though.
These are fantastic! I think my favorite is the first one. It is very simple and nice looking. The only thing is I don't feel that a superhero company would have something so technical looking? But I think the tagline might work well with it. Now that I think of it, I think this is your best option. It sorta reminds me of a boomarang type thing--superheros might use that right?
Your second one is my next favorite. But I still prefer the first one. I feel like this one has great colors, but just doesn't make me think of superheros.
Your explanations for all these rock. However, the third one looks more like an es than a ps. So if you picked this one, you might want to incorporate that second color, maybe in a lighter opacity, just to differentiate between them.
